College of Engineering and Management (CoEM) affiliated to Pokhara University was established in 2013 A.D. (2073 B.S.) with the effort of a team consisting of members having innovative vision, long experience and dedication to uplift the status of modern, scientific and technical education in Nepal to raise engineering education up to the standard and reduce the compulsion of going abroad for technical education. It is situated at prime Location of Nepalgunj, Banke. It stands with its motto "A journey of excellence" which introduces the Civil Engineering course & Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology that stand as distinct in Western Part of Nepal. It is well endowed itself the basic requisites to nourish it as a good center for leading learning, to produce academically & practically competent professional in Engineering field. Teaching Method
The teaching methodology adopted by the college incorporates a blend of lectures, class discussions and practical classes with classroom presentations, project works, audio-visual presentations, demonstrations and special talk programs, field work, case study internship, site-visits, assignments, seminars and other practical sessions. Periodic class tests, mid-terms and sent up examinations help students to be prepared for all sorts of evaluations.

BE Civil Bachelor of Civil Engineering
Bachelor of Civil Engineering is a four year program, with eight semesters. The course enhances the theoretical and practical knowledge of the planning, designing, constructing and maintaining of the physical infrastructures and natural environment. Civil Engineering includes structural analysis, engineering materials, hydrology, irrigation, hydropower, fluid mechanics, soil mechanics, foundation engineering, geology, water supply, sanitary, transportation engineering and so on.
After holding the degree, the graduates are qualified in the fields like all kinds of roads, bridges, tunnel, canals, buildings, parks, sports complexes.
Advancement of Career
Holding the degree the graduates will be involved in a wide range of public and private sectors. They will get a number of posts and responsibilities in infrastructure realm like bridge, building, airport, irrigation, hydropower, tunneling and so on.
BE IT Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology
Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology (BE IT) is a four-year (eight semester) Program. It is unique blend of Information and Communication Technology. This program provides the good knowledge in Computer Science, Communication Technology and their application in the respective fields. This course is designed to meet the need of an ever growing Information Technology in Nepal and Abroad.
Course Learning Outcomes
- Design and develop software and computer system and design secure networks and monitors them.
- Resolve System related issues and troubleshoot communication and networking problems to ensure smooth operations.
- Will be able in producing and implementing sustainable network or distributed software-based system to address current and emerging needs of local business, government and community organizations.

Internship Program
The BE Civil & BE IT Students are required to undertake an internship program approved by the program coordinator. Students are supervised by the faculty members. To promote opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge in real life situation the students must submit the internship report to the host institute and the University. Presentation in the institute is compulsory for each and every student.
